Casper Sage Searches For Nirvana in "Flow State"

Indie alt-R&B artist Casper Sage searches for balance in his latest single, "Flow State." The track is filled with warm, silky sonics and enchanting vocals that draw the listener in and invest us in Sage's journey toward finding satisfaction in his life.
"Flow State" opens with a false start with Sage singing with soft guitar strums, "Caught up / I wanna," and then launching into the rich world of "Flow State." thrumming bass lines, subtle percussion, and sunny guitar riffs melt together and intertwine with Sage's soothing voice. He reflects on his life and his efforts towards "trying not to get caught up" because he wants "to flow like the water" and achieve peace of mind.
"Flow State" continues Sage's series of standout singles he has been releasing over the course of the year, including fan favorites "Spinnin" and "Pseudo." The latter of the two sees the Oklahoma City-born artist reminisce on an incredibly emotional period of their life and search for purpose in his loneliness.
The accompanying music video mirrors the fuzzy-at-the-edges comfort of being alone and the slow growth required to find peace in such an isolating setting, eventually admitting to trying to feel safe with himself. Sage carries himself with the emotional depth and philosophical wisdom of a man twice his age. The singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist writes with shocking nostalgia for someone in the prime of their youth.
